Easter Basket Wreath

DSC_0986 Well this may be a little early but my door seems REALLY Naked with out a wreath! Also I bought my wreath stuff a while back and I was pretty excited to make this wreath. My Mom always made wreaths like these for our neighbor and friends. Well she would buy the stuff and let my sister and I make them. I know she is where my love to craft came from!

Items Needed:

  • Wreath, (you can totally use my favorite cardboard too!)
  • Moss or Easter grass (I only used 1 bag)
  • Plastic Eggs (Dont you have about a million of these! I do!)DSC_0961I bought my supplies at the dollar store (I love the price :)!  Make sure you are wanting to make a slight mess and start hot gluing your moss to your wreath.DSC_0963I liked the look of only going half way around, my 1st intention was to go the completely around. Doesn't it look like an Easter basket to you? I simply glued my eggs in the spots that I liked. DSC_0971 I added a little ribbon to break up between moss and wreath and then hung it on my door to stare… It was missing something!DSC_0977 What makes every Easter basket perfect… Duh the chocolate bunny! So I went back to the craft room and found some extra cardboard, yes leftovers can you tell?!DSC_0981I cut him out and added some fun brown scrapbook paper. Then glued him into his new home.DSC_0983   Well What do you think? I love it and for $2.00 that just sweetens the deal!DSC_0987 I also thought I would show you another idea, this is the wreath I made last year. Just a simple foam wreath from the dollar store and jelly beans! It was super quick and yummy! I was also able to keep my Mom’s tradition alive and made these for a couple of friends doors. Trust me they will love an off season gift!DSC01836

I cant wait to share the rest of the Easter stuff we have in store for you guys!
