The other day my sweet tooth was taking over. When i need a quick sugary fix I always lean towards no bake cookies or rice crispies but i was missing some of the ingredients for no bakes so i grabbed some marshmallows and some puffed rice.
I only had caramel marshmallows so i thought i would add a lil more sugar and as i melted the marshmallows i poured about 1/4 cup of the caramel topping in. It was a lil to much caramel next time i will use a lil less.
I mixed it the way you make rice crispies but before i tried them i melted some chocolate for the top.
They were so good but had so much sugar in them you cant eat more then a small piece.
I love using different kinds of cereal instead of rice cripies or the puffed rice. What other things do you guys add to rice crispies?
