Beef Bouquet

I wanted to share what I think is the cutest spin on a typical Valentines gift.
I came up with this Beef Bouquet three years ago while my husband and I were still dating. I wanted something extra special for him since Valentines is in all reality a girls holiday. My husband absolutely loved his gift so I thought I would make it again this year.

When I made this 3 years ago I had the florist make me a bouquet with the filler, wrapping and ribbon just minus the flowers then at my house I just stuffed in 12 pieces of jerky one by one. If you put it in a bundle or in a vase this is still the easiest way. If you want to try this and plan on using a vase a tip would be to glue or tape a skewer stick to the back of the jerky to give you some height. We added some ribbon to the vase to look like a tie rather then a typical bow.
I sure hope you enjoy my little manly twist on a valentines bouquet

  16. hi! I have bought the jar, ribbon, rocks, and jerky, but I was wondering if you had any suggestion what I could use if I didn't go to a florist for the filler? I LOVE this idea and I am SO excited!!

  17. I just used the jar to show you girls how it looked rather then it laying on the table. It was all things i had at the house. The first time i made it i just used the clear wrapping, no vase.

I was thinking you could get the same thing but fake ones at the craft store but Kori said green tissue paper might work(and be cheaper)or twigs but if you wanna really spoil your man throw some of his favorite candy bars in there. The possibilities are endless!

Be sure to tell us how you did yours oh and we would love to see pictures!
