If you are like me you are always looking for fun new treats and meals to feed your husbands especially for the “big game” My mother and i came up with this while we were planning a luncheon for a friend. We saw this cute lil appetizer where they looped basil in-between a tomato and mozzarella on a toothpick. We thought that would be the perfect to go with an Italian themed meal but not an American meal. So we thought of all sorts of little appetizers that are on a stick to go with different themed dinners like a tex-mex version and even a BLT but i haven't tried any til now. This is what we came up with and thought would be so easy and fun for super bowl Sunday
We call them Cheeseburger Skewers
I was thinking of making them minus the meatball and set them out so the guests can take as many meatballs as they would like. This way the meat can stay warm and the men can even make a double! What else would you add? Bacon, Onion, Mushrooms?
I love watching Melissa d’Arabian on the Food Network. She always has good but unique recipes and tons of money saving ideas. She made these a while ago and i had to try them.
Here is the recipe for BBQ Ranch Deviled Eggs by Melissa d’Arabian. My husband loved them but i think i would change the recipe a little bit.
I have my menu ready for my man for the big game do you? Let us know what you have planned we would love to hear your ideas!

I am lovin' the cheeseburger skewer idea! This would be perfect for a bbq too! :) Our menu for the big game is all set: pizza, ribs, and LOTS of "munchies" (dips, spreads, etc)... I may have to add these skewers to the line up too! :) Thanks for sharing!
